I'm a Director and Operations Manager at Special People Partnership, where I lead both the day-to-day delivery of our services and support the wider strategic direction of the organisation. Since joining in 2021, I've been proud to play a key role in our growth, working closely with families, local authorities, and partners to ensure we deliver high-quality, person-centred support for children and young people with additional needs. In my role, I oversee service delivery, support and develop our Care Coordinators, and focus on maintaining strong standards of quality, safeguarding, and continuous improvement. Building trusted relationships and ensuring our services genuinely meet the needs of the families we support is at the heart of everything I do. I'm passionate about creating services that families can rely on and feel confident in. I am the IT Support and Financial Assistant at Special People. In my role, I ensure that our workers have a smooth and reliable operational system in place and that they remain compliant across all of our platforms and processes. I support both internal teams and frontline workers by resolving technical issues, maintaining system accessibility, and assisting with financial administration where required. I am committed to helping the team deliver high-quality, efficient support services.

I have worked in social care since 2007, joining Special People Ltd in 2011 as a Support Worker and progressing to Risk Assessor and Supervisor in 2018. Over the years I've gained extensive experience across all aspects of care delivery from frontline support to booking coordination, supervision, and care planning. I'm passionate about person-centred care and embedding the values of Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) into everyday practice, ensuring Special People delivers safe, bespoke, and dignified care tailored to each client's needs. My professional background includes: Behavioural management and humanistic counselling Serving as Special People's Moving and Handling Trainer Designing and implementing risk assessments and care plans Supporting staff development and supervision Advocating for multi-agency collaboration that places clients at the centre of care I believe effective care comes from teamwork, respect, and a commitment to empowering individuals — always upholding safety, autonomy, and quality in every aspect of support.
