Thank You for an Amazing Open Day

Recently, we brought our team together for an Open Day, a day focused on appreciation, communication, growth and opportunity.

Most importantly, it was a chance to say thank you.

Every day, our support workers, coordinators and wider team make a meaningful difference to children, young people and families. The work takes patience, kindness, professionalism and real commitment. Families trust Special People because of the care, reliability and compassion shown by our team every single day.

A message of growth and opportunity

The main message from the day was simple:

As we continue to develop our services and support more families, we are also creating new opportunities for staff development, training and progression. Many people across Special People began as support workers and have gone on to grow into clinical work, assessments, coordination, management, marketing and specialist support roles.

We are continuing to build pathways for development across areas including clinical care, safeguarding, leadership, digital skills and service coordination.
